Meet & Greet

Schedule your meet & greet anytime during your pregnancy. 12-25 weeks would be a great time to connect. We will chat for about 30 minutes to help decide if we are a good fit working together.

Our Meetings

During out prenatal visits, we will chat about many things! This is a time for me to get to know you better. Understand your hopes, dreams, traditions and fears around childbirth. We will take a peek at your birth plan, find out which hands on comfort measures you enjoy, or go over some positioning we may want to try out in labor to help baby into ideal positioning! If there's anything else you've heard about that you'd like more insight on, our prenatal is the time.

On-Call

Starting at 37 weeks, my doula bag is packed and I am ready to meet you in labor. That may be at your home or where you're planning to deliver. I will support you virtually until you are ready for more hands on or in person care.

Labor & Delivery

I will be with you continuously through labor, delivery and up to 2 hours postpartum. Care looks different for every person. Advocacy, Emotional and Physical Support are at the core for both birthing person and partner. From breathing with you, to providing hands-on comforting touch and massage, to holding the space for moments alone or with your partner, being your doula can look many different ways.

Postpartum

Once you are home, usually within the first week, I come by for up to 3 hours. We can use this time for various things. Debriefing the haze that is birth, setting up your pump, learning how to sterilize bottles or attending baby so you can get some uninterrupted sleep to name a few. Above all it is a great time to touch base to make sure you have the resources handy to support you during such a transformative time.

Our Timeline

Complimentary Meet & Greet

Support starts with a complimentary meet & greet virtual call. This gives us both the opportunity to see if we're the right fit. Bring your questions and be ready to answer some about your pregnancy you may have not thought about yet.

Testimony

"I can’t imagine having gone through the childbirth experience without a doula, and I am so glad ours was Kristina! She stuck by our side for over 24 hours in a physically/emotionally taxing and complicated labor/delivery. Whenever my brain was stuck in “what I’m doing isn’t working” and couldn’t move into troubleshooting and solutioning, Kristina was especially helpful with 1) recognizing this and 2) prompting a plethora of things to do. We did a bath, TENS, rebozo, massage, countless position changes with various equipment (pre- and in bed with an epidural), and more! We wouldn’t have done a fraction of these things without Kristina (and my partner realistically wouldn’t have had the stamina to massage and use a massage gun on me for as long as Kristina did!). I’m confident that some of my experiences could have easily been traumatic, and I thank Kristina for helping to prevent that and actually allow me to walk away with a positive outlook on my labor and delivery. That in itself is worth everything when looking back at my childbirth experience… Along with the photos I never knew I wanted but will now cherish forever!! I am beyond grateful for Kristina’s compassion, knowledge, and physical/emotional strength.." - Alex
